Cotton Ball 500

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

Masking tape, Cotton balls, Straws

HOW TO PLAY:

  1. Fuel up with State Fair Corn Dogs.
  2. Use tape to create a racetrack.
  3. Players step up to the starting line with a cotton ball and a straw.
  4. Whoever blows their cotton ball from start to finish the fastest wins.

Glow'n Bowl

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

10 bottles (filled ¾ with water), 10 glow sticks, A volleyball or something similar

HOW TO PLAY:

  1. Drop a glow stick inside each bottle, and then screw on the caps.
  2. Line up the "pins," and then knock them down. (Play by the traditional rules, or make up your own.)
  3. Recharge with more State Fair Corn Dogs, and play on!

Follow the Beat Badminton

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

Paper plates, Craft sticks, Masking tape, Someone to control the music

HOW TO PLAY:

  1. Make a badminton racket using a paper plate and a craft stick.
  2. Mark a "net" on the floor with tape.
  3. Start the music.
  4. Everyone starts with 10 points. If the balloon is on your side when the music stops, you lose a point. First player to zero loses.
  5. Refuel with State Fair Corn Dogs, and then play again!

Lava Monster

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

2-3 Hula-Hoops

HOW TO PLAY:

  1. Whoever loses at Rock, Paper, Scissors is the Lava Monster, and anyone they tag becomes "it."
  2. The only safe zones are inside the Hula-Hoops. After 30 seconds, though, those spaces become lava, and the person inside becomes the Lava Monster.
  3. Whoever’s safe after 10 minutes runs out wins!

Milk Jug Catch

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

Scissors, Plastic milk jugs, A lightweight ball, Duct tape, Washable markers

HOW TO PLAY:

  1. Cut the bottoms off the jugs to make a scoop. (Hang on to the part with the handle.)
  2. Cover sharp edges with duct tape.
  3. Decorate, fuel up with State Fair Corn Dogs, and then play on!

Splat!

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

Chalk, Small sponges, Bucket of water

HOW TO PLAY:

  1. Use chalk to draw a target on the ground.
  2. Mark each section 10, 20, 30 points and so on, with the highest number in the center.
  3. Draw a throwing line.
  4. See who can throw their sponge closest to the center, and racks up the most points.
  5. Refuel with State Fair Corn Dogs, and then play on!

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

Lots of socks

HOW TO PLAY:

  1. Power up with State Fair Corn Dogs.
  2. Pile socks in the center of the room.
  3. Each player picks a corner.
  4. Shout "Go!"
  5. Everyone runs to the center, grabbing socks using only their toes.
  6. Whoever collects the most socks for their corner wins.

Stop Go Cruise

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

Chalk, Toys, Cardboard boxes

HOW TO PLAY:

  1. Fuel up on State Fair Corn Dogs and then play on by turning your driveway into a driving course (for bikes, tricycles, etc.) by drawing turning lanes, double lines and street signs with chalk.
  2. Use cardboard boxes and toys to add roadside attractions and landmarks.

Hall of Spies

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

Painter’s tape, Pom-poms, Sticky notes

HOW TO PLAY:

  1. Give your little ones the fuel they need with State Fair Corn Dogs, and then proceed to step two.
  2. Drop pom-poms on the floor and place sticky notes on the walls.
  3. Create laser beams in a hallway by criss-crossing strips of painter’s tape from one wall to the other, at different heights.
  4. Your little spies will have to collect as many items as possible without tearing the tape down. (If the tape comes down, the game starts over.)

Splash Pitch

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

A bat (wiffle, foam, or whatever works), Water balloons, Water hose

HOW TO PLAY:

  1. Give your little sluggers State Fair Corn Dogs, and head outdoors.
  2. Fill water balloons with water.
  3. Pitch the water balloons, and let your champs swing for the fences.
